2,185 miles in 38 hours

When we left Chicago at 2:00 am we stopped only for gas and snacks straight through for 27 hours to Grand Teton NP. We found our reserved site, pulled in with little trouble and got ready for bed. Fran and Marina’s bed was soaking wet!  They got together what they needed and slept in the back of the truck. They say they were comfortable enough even though it was only about 35 degrees.   Fran cleaned and caulked the front window where we think the rain came in and all the bedding is drying in the sun. 

We went down to Jackson lake for the afternoon and just finished a delicious lunch at the Jackson Lake Lodge by the water. 

We’re ready for a drive around the park, some naps and a hike.
